A 19-year old woman is facing charges after threatening and assaulting two people at a Dollar store in Dartmouth.
Police say the woman who was caught shoplifting was confronted by the manager of the Dollarama on Wyse Road in Dartmouth. The woman then allegedly pushed the store manager, and a customer who attempted to intervene. The incident ended after a pair of scissors dropped by the customer was used to threaten the manager before the assailant left the store.
Police have charged the woman with assault and possession of stolen goods.
