At 3:36 p.m. a 52-year-old woman was walking in the parking lot of a business in the 600 block of Wilkinson Avenue in Burnside when she was struck by a car that was backing out of a parking spot. The victim was transported to hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. The matter is still under investigation.
