Thursday, June 15, 2017 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that Woody Lane between Hamilton Drive and Lively Road will be closed for approximately one month from June 19 to July 19. The closure will facilitate the installation of water and sanitary mains that will service the Berry Hills Phase 6 development.
A full street closure will take place Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Traffic safety personnel will direct motorists, pedestrians and cyclists around the worksite, as needed. Civic addresses directly impacted by this closure will be escorted in and out of the job site by the contractor’s traffic control personnel. All residents of Woody Lane will have continuous access throughout the closure.
Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to take alternative routes, if possible.
Access to Harry R. Hamilton Elementary School will be maintained at all times.
The municipality appreciates your patience while this work is underway.
