Workshop offered to better services for cross-cultural immigrants

Immigrant Settlement and Integration Services (ISIS) and the Halifax Refugee Clinic are holding a workshop to discuss how to make services more cross-cultural for newcomers.

Date: Monday, April 30th 2012
Time: 9am to 3:30pm
Place: Captain William Spry Center

Please RSVP by April 20th by calling 430-2925 or emailing halifaxrefugeeclinic@gmail.com
Lunch will be provided. In the morning, we are planning to have a cultural competency workshop and in the afternoon, we are inviting different settlement organizations to share information and knowledge with community service providers. We are planning to provide a certificate at the end of the day as well.
