November 14th is World Diabetes Day, so there’s no better time to watch a new video about diabetes, featuring local youth!

The Health Association of African Canadians has produced a video called ‘Taking Hold Of Out Health’.  The video was created by Pink Dog Productions Inc. of Halifax and features young people who showcased their talents regarding education about diabetes prevention through physical activity, healthy living, cultural awareness and good nutrition.

The video premieres November 14th 2009 at the Black Cultural Centre, 1149 Main Street, Dartmouth from 2-4 pm.  All are welcome.
