Members of the Yarmouth/Clare RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) and Yarmouth RCMP arrested a Kelley’s Cove man yesterday in the Town of Yarmouth and searched his residence a short time later.

The suspect is facing drug and firearms charges.

On Friday, March 27th at approximately 4:10 p.m., Yarmouth/Clare SCEU and Yarmouth RCMP arrested a Kelley’s Cove man in downtown Yarmouth without incident. RCMP searched his residence a short time later seizing a quantity of marijuana, cocaine, drug paraphernalia, a handgun and a large amount of cash.

The 29-year-old male was released from police custody on conditions. He is facing charges of drug and firearm related offences and is scheduled to appear in Yarmouth Provincial Court on May 12, 2015.
