Yarmouth RCMP Lay Drug Trafficking Charges

Following a two month investigation into prescription drug trafficking, Yarmouth RCMP executed a search warrant at a Yarmouth residence on February 14, 2016 and seized cocaine, marihuana, MDMA and hydromorphone.

On February 18, 2016, officers arrested a 56-year-old Yarmouth man at a Yarmouth residence. Later that day, officers arrested a 53-year-old Yarmouth woman at another Yarmouth residence.  Both were arrested without incident.
 
Charles Raymond Blades has been charged with Possession of Hydromorphone for the Purpose of Trafficking.   Blades has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear at Yarmouth Provincial Court on February 22, 2016.  The woman was released from custody.
 
The investigation is ongoing and further charges are anticipated.
