You can help design an Afrocentric Learning Program!

The Salvation Army of Spryfield is beginning an Afrocentric Learning Program to support African-Nova Scotian families seeking education for both parents and children. The funding is in place, and all that’s left to do is determine what direction the program should take. Examples of possible initiatives might be a book program. You can help determine the focus of the program at a meeting on September 30, 7pm, at the Salvation Army Family Resource Centre on Herring Cove Rd. Childcare and a meal will be provided.
