You can now check into your clinic appointment online

Nova Scotia Health is now offering a new online check-in option for select clinic appointments at facilities in Halifax Regional Municipality.

Patients and clients can now register online for select clinic appointments up to 30 minutes in advance at Nova Scotia Health facilities using their personal device (e.g., mobile phone). Upon completing a successful online check-in patients can proceed directly to their clinic appointment.

Online check-in will initially be available at select Nova Scotia Health clinics in Halifax Regional Municipality. Patients travelling from other areas of the province for appointments will also be able access this service. The expansion of the online check-in service will continue in phases as on-site registration kiosks are implemented across the province. Currently, registration kiosks are only available in the Halifax area.

“We expect that many patients and clients will take advantage of this new convenient option to register for their appointment from their home, vehicle or wherever they are most comfortable,” says Derek Spinney, Vice President Corporate Services, Infrastructure and Chief Financial Officer, Nova Scotia Health. “This is another way that we are improving access to our health care services,” notes Spinney.

Alternatively, in person registration is still available when patients arrive for their appointment.
