A youth was arrested with weapons after he was seen near a school in Cole Harbour.
Last evening, 6:38 p.m., RCMP were dispatched to Astral Drive after a youth was observed around the school holding a knife and a bat.
With the assistance of a police service dog, the youth was located and arrested without incident. Police seized a baseball bat and a small knife. There were no other people around at the time and the school was closed for the day. The 14-year-old male was released from custody and will be appearing in court at a later date.
