Youth charged after break-in at Sportsplex

At 7:30 pm. last night an off duty HRP member reported a break and enter into the players locker room at the Dartmouth Sportsplex.  The incident was captured on video and a suspect identified by the investigating members.   At 9:50 pm. the suspect was observed on Portland street and after a brief foot pursuit arrested.  Some of the stolen property was recovered.  A 14 year old youth is being held in police custody facing the following charges: Break and enter, two counts of Resist arrest, Assaulting a police officer, Breach of Recognizance and two counts of breaching a Probation order.
