Youth charged after knifing incident at Transit terminal

Halifax Regional Police have charged a youth in relation to an incident that occurred at the Halifax Transit Mumford Terminal this weekend.

On March 4 at approximately 7:50 p.m., police responded to a report that a youth had just threatened a group of youths and brandished a knife. An officer arrested the youth a short distance away and seized a knife.

The 17-year-old youth is scheduled to appear in Halifax Youth Court at a later date to face one count of possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.
