From RCMP:
On Wednesday evening, July 14, 2010, at approximately 8:30 PM, members of the Halifax District Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Lower Sackville were called to investigate a hit and run collision in the Sobeys parking lot on Sackville Drive.

They located the suspect vehicle and charged the 17-year old male driver with Failing to Remain at the Scene of an Accident.  During the course of their investigation, they found the driver to be in possession of a substantial quantity of marijuana. The youth is also being charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and will be appearing in Halifax Youth Court on that charge August 5, 2010.
