Youth facing charges following break and enter

Halifax District RCMP responded to a report of a male on the roof of Sackville High School at 7 p.m. last evening.

With assistance from the Halifax Regional Police K-9 Unit, a 17-year-old male was located in the school where he was arrested without incident.

He is facing charges for Break and Enter, Theft under $5000, Mischief and Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose. He is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Youth Court at a later date.

The investigation is continuing.
