Youth fired upon with replica firearm, police investigating

RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment is seeking information in relation to a shooting involving a replica firearm in Middle Sackville.

On April 3, RCMP officers learned that the day prior, at approximately 3:35 p.m., a male youth walking along Millwood Dr., near Beaverbank Cross Rd., was fired upon with a BB gun or airsoft replica handgun from a moving vehicle.  

The youth was not struck by the projectile and did not suffer physical injuries.

The vehicle involved in the incident is described as an older grey rusted sedan with silver rims.

The driver of the vehicle is described as a White youth male.

The passenger of the vehicle, who discharged the weapon, is described as a Black youth male.
