HRM Community Recreation and Culture in Sackville is running a youth leadership program for teens ages 12-16 that teaches young people how to be a leader in their community.

The program offers training sessions, fun socials, and volunteer opportunities to give back to our community. They are having information sessions to encourage youth to participate over the next two weeks:

HRM Youth Leadership Program – Information Nights

What is it? A FREE evening information session on our summer program for those who want to learn leadership skills, spend time with other youth through social activities, work with children in day camps and give back to their community during the summer months. *For youth ages 13+ or youth who have completed grade 7.

Level I & II: Ages 12-16

When: June 11th, 6:30 – 7:30 PM

Where: Sackville Municipal Building

When: June 4th, 6 – 7 PM 

Where: Gordon R. Snow Community Centre

*It is mandatory for all interested participants to attend an information session.

At the information session, you can fill out or hand in the application. We ask that you pre-register for an information session by calling 869-4200 or online with the registration code through RecConnect atwww.halifax.ca/rec/
