Youth sexually assaulted at Fall River grocery store

Halifax District RCMP is seeking information in relation to a sexual assault that occurred at a store in Fall River.

Yesterday, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Halifax District RCMP received a complaint of a sexual assault that occurred at a grocery store on Hwy. 2 in Fall River. Investigators learned that three youths and a woman were shopping when one of the youths was groped by a man. The man then quickly exited the store.

The man is described as being 20-30-years-old, 6-foot. He was wearing a dark blue Coors Light hoodie with a black jacket overtop and black pants.

Information obtained by investigators indicates that the man arrived at the store in a red Hyundai Elantra hatchback.

The investigation is ongoing.
