Youth Stabbed On Waterfront

At 8:07 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to the area of the Ferry Terminal in Halifax, regarding an altercation between several young people. 
Reported one person had been stabbed. EHS transported a 14 year old male to the IWK Hospital for non life threatening injuries a stab wound to his side.  A second male made his way to the QE 2 Hospital, with a stab wound to his leg, also a non life threatening injury.
 
One youth male  was stopped and arrested on Lower Water Street, two youth females were located in the area and were detained while the investigation continued.
The male at the QE 2, would not cooperate with police members. A weapon was located in the vicinity of the stabbing.
 
All parties have been released from police custody, the Integrated General Investigative Section is continuing the stabbing investigation.
 
Related to this investigation a 14 year old male has been charged with possession of a weapon, he has been released and will be attending Youth Court September 15, 2011.
