I had reviewed Yves Rocher Anti-age Global products 2 years ago.
The line, with gorgeous white packaging and green accent, provides anti-aging care with 4G Plant Source Cells from Echinacea, targeting women over 40 as a treatment and women over 30 as a prevention.
The 2 brand new additions to the lineup are quite unique, right up my alley, definitely peaked my interest.
This luxurious white box holds 4 tiny little bottles (28-day dose) of the Complete Anti-aging Cure with Botanical Native Cells.
Each bottle, with highly concentrated formula, is meant for 1 week use, 4 in total back to back (up to 3 times a year), to give you an intense night-time anti-aging process.
The Cure is supposed to deliver 10 anti-aging results:
– reduce the appearance of wrinkles
– even out skin texture
– revive radiance
– firm, plum, replenish, revitalize, strengthen, renew and moisturize skin.
As mentioned in the original review, I am not fully convinced of the effects of plan stem cells on human skin. However, the ingredients in the Cure has worked wonderfully on me. It is not a “line eraser” by any means but it makes my skin look plump and well rested, hence the lines are less noticeable. And the effect lasts while I am using the product consistently.
The product lasts me longer than the 28 day estimate. It has been a month of testing and I just started the last bottle. And I kinda wish it does not run out, ever.
For the intended purpose, I would not repeat this product until months later, but I love what I see. Definitely recommend as a bi-annual care or if you have a big event (like a wedding – yours, or your kid’s) coming up that you know way in advance.
Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Methylpropanediol, Hydrogenated Coconut Oil, Betaine, Alcohol, Centaurea Cyanus Flower Water, Sorbitan Stearate, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, etc.
The bottles are 0.23oz/7ml each. The set is $85, on sale for $46.90 now.
In a similar intensity, but more short termed, is the Complete Anti-aging mask, with Skin to Skin technology.
Formulated to quickly regenerate your skin with more than 97% ingredients of natural origin, this mask is no ordinary!
First, the texture is very different:
– 2-piece sheet mask (top and bottom halves, slightly overlapping when go on the face), sandwiched between an opaque white plastic sheet and a clear film inside the packaging.
– Thin (but sturdy) gelly-like texture, with good amount of liquid. The mask becomes almost invisible on, gently hugs the face and stays on very very well.
I always leave my sheet masks on much longer than the suggested 15-20 minutes. In fact, I went to bed with this one and it was still on my face when I woke up, only slightly tacky and damp at that time.
I was skeptical, as there is only so much a mask can do for the skin, but was then pleasantly surprised. This mask is the flash version of the Cure above, giving me the same effect on the skin that lasts through the morning. Makeup goes on like a dream!
Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Ceratonia Siliqua Gum, Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan), Sucrose, Potassium Chloride, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Disodium Edta, Potassium Hydroxide.
Similarly, I would suggest this mask before a night on the town or important social event 🙂 The packet is1oz/ 30g, $16, on sale for $8.80.
Forgive my fail attempt to show you the texture of both products in this shot. It is nearly impossible to photograph a clear wet and slippery mask, with protective films on each side. The white sheet you see here is one of those films, the mask is hidden underneath.
The Cure has a runny lotion texture that does not take long to absorb. Given, it is not greasy nor sticky.
In summary, I do recommend both products for special occasions or when you want to treat your skin to something great. The sale price is definitely worth it!
