12 potential COVID-19 exposures (Dec 21 2021 report)

Potential exposures to COVID-19 at locations in Central, Western and Northern Zones and on one flight. In addition to media releases, all potential exposure notifications are listed here: http://www.nshealth.ca/covid-exposures.

As Nova Scotia moves into a stage of living with COVID-19 as we go about our daily activities, there will be changes in how Public Health communicates COVID-19 public exposures. We will no longer be issuing exposures based on the risk levels of low, moderate, or high. We will be issuing COVID precaution notifications and COVID exposure notifications, where your self-isolation and testing requirements will be based on your vaccination status. COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION (there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public)

If you were present at the following locations on the named dates and times, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Precaution Notification based on your vaccination status.

  • GolfZon Halifax (3200 Kempt Rd., Halifax) on Dec. 11 between 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 25.
  • Swiss Chalet (358 Lacewood Dr., Halifax) on Dec. 11 between 4 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 25.
  • The Pint (1575 Argyle St., Halifax) on:
  • Dec. 10 between 5:30 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. (Dec. 11).
  • Dec. 11 between 5:30 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. (Dec. 12).  

It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may

develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 26.

  • Sackville Arena (91 First Lake Dr., Lower Sackville) on Dec. 12 between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 26.
  • Mic Mac Mall Food Court (21 Micmac Blvd., Dartmouth) on Dec. 10 between 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 24.
  • Mic Mac Mall Crepe Delicious (21 Micmac Blvd., Dartmouth) on Dec. 10 between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 24.
  • The Keg (11 Fyne Ln., Dartmouth) on:
  • Dec. 10 between 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
  • Dec. 14 between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may

develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 28.

  • Moxie’s Grill and Bar (9 Countryview Dr., Dartmouth) on Dec. 15 between 12 p.m. (noon) and 2 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 29.
  • Pizza Delight (236 Dufferin St., Bridgewater) on Dec. 12 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 26.

COVID EXPOSURE NOTIFICATION (the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19).

If you were on the following flight in the specified rows and seats or were present at the following locations on the named dates and times, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Exposure Notification based on your vaccination status.

  • Fit4Less (278 Lacewood Dr., Halifax) on Dec. 10 between 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 24.
  • Porter 207 travelling on Dec. 12 from Ottawa (9:35 a.m.) to Halifax (12:27 p.m.). Passengers in rows 13 to 19, seats A, C and D. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 26.
  • Bible Hill Bowlacade (27 Jennifer Dr., Truro) on:
  • Dec. 14 between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
  • Dec. 16 between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
  • Dec. 17 between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may

develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 31.

PLEASE NOTE: Nova Scotia Health employees and physicians who have been at an exposure location must complete the COVID-19 status or reason for work absence webform for advice, guidance and direction from Occupational Health Safety and Wellness.

For those for whom testing is recommended or required, please book your COVID-19 test at https://covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/en or call 811 if you don’t have online access, or if you have other symptoms that concern you. When booking your test online, please select the reason for testing as: I was at one of the exposure sites at the date and time identified in a recent Public Health public service announcement or letter where testing was recommended. Please get tested at a COVID-19 testing centre or public health mobile unit; do not go to a pop-up rapid testing location.
