19-Year-Old Investigated For Misleading Police

At 9:40 PM – Police responded to a report of a robbery that occurred in the area of the 0-100 block of Larry Uteck  Dr. in Halifax. The victim, a 19 year old man, reported that he had been robbed of a sum of money by two male suspects who had threatened him with a knife.
Upon further investigation into this matter it was determined that a robbery did not occur and that the alleged victim had mislead police. The 19 year old man from the Sackville area is now under investigation for public mischief, this matter remains under investigation at this time.
