28-Year-Old Man Charged with Drug Trafficking and Weapon Possession

The Valley Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit has charged a man with drug offences.

On August 9, 2023, as part of an ongoing drug investigation, the Valley Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, assisted by the Kings District RCMP General Investigation Section and Kings District RCMP, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle Fundy Dr. in Wolfville. Police safely arrested a 28-year-old man and located cocaine, hydromorphone and brass knuckles on his person. Police searched the man’s vehicle but no other evidence was located.

Justice Treyvon Hunter, 28, of Wolfville, has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (2 counts) and Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. Hunter was released on an Appearance Notice and will appear in Kentville Provincial Court on September 26, 2023.
