$300,000 in damage to Bedford construction site

Officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section are requesting the public’s assistance in solving a break and enter in Bedford that resulted in significant property damage.
 
On Monday, May 16, police responded to a break and enter that occurred at a building under construction in the 100 block of Damascus Road. Sometime between 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 14 and Monday morning, the suspect(s) entered the building and smashed doors, windows and walls. The damage is estimated at approximately $300,000. At this time, investigators are reviewing video surveillance from other businesses in the area and are asking for the public’s assistance to determine who is responsible for this senseless act of vandalism.
