From HRPD:
At approximately 2:10 am police responded to a call of a break and enter in progress in the 5600 block of Armoury Place in Halifax. The complainant was awoken by noises in his residence that sounded like someone was inside of his home. The complainant yelled out to the intruder that the police were being called and he subsequently called 911. Police were on scene quickly and a 33 year old male was arrested inside of the residence. It appears that entry was gained by the suspect by smashing out a basement window. No one was injured during the incident. The suspect will be attending Halifax court later today to face charges of break and enter in to a dwelling.
