Two vehicle crash on Highway 104, Limerock, N.S.

Pictou County RCMP is investigating a two vehicle crash on Highway 104 and are diverting traffic onto Highway 4 at Saltsprings. At approximately noon today, Pictou County RCMP, EHS and Fire Services from Alma and Westville were called to the scene of a two vehicle crash in the eastbound lane of Highway 104 in Limerock.

At approximately noon today, Pictou County RCMP, EHS and Fire Services from Alma and Westville were called to the scene of a two vehicle crash in the eastbound lane of Highway 104 in Limerock.

Preliminary investigation determined a mid-sized car struck the rear-end of a dump truck hauling gravel. The female driver and lone occupant of the car has been transported to hospital with undetermined injuries. The eastbound lanes of Highway 104 will be closed to traffic for the next several hours while the RCMP investigate the scene. Eastbound traffic is being re-routed onto Highway 4 at exit 19, Saltsprings.
