Update:
Investigators from the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division have charged three people in connection with this incident.
A 19-year-old man from Williamswood, a 20-year-old Halifax man and a 21-year-old man from Bedford each face two counts of aggravated assault and one count of break and enter.
The man from Williamswood faces an additional charge of possession of a weapon and is expected to appear in court on Tuesday, April 24. 2018. The other two are scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.

Members of the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating an assault with a weapon that occurred overnight in the 500 block of Herring Cove Road, Halifax.
At approximately 1:10 a.m., police responded to a report of two people who had been stabbed at an apartment building in the 500 block of Herring Cove Road. Investigators determined that there were two victims who had been stabbed.
The victims, a 33-year-old woman and a 33-year-old-man were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The male has since been treated and released.
A third person, a 20-year-old male was located a short time later at local hospital also suffering from non-life threatening injuries which are believed to have occurred during this incident. Police do not believe this is a random act.
This matter is in the early stages of the investigation and limited details are available at this time.
