Police responded to the Mumford Bus terminal for a report of a pedestrian hit by a bus.

A 73-year-old woman crossing the roadway in a marked crosswalk was hit by an Halifax transit bus exiting the bus terminal.

The woman was transported to hospital by EHS for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

The collision remains under investigation and no charges have been laid at this time.
