(1) Police Investigate Robbery & Arrest Suspect – Halifax

At 8:25 p.m., 25 June, Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery that had just occurred at the Irving gas station, 2499 Robie Street, Halifax.​ A male entered the business producing a knife and demanded money from the cashier.​ The suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.​ No one involved was injured.​

At 8:40 p.m., officers located and arrested the suspect in 2300 block of Gottingen Street.​ Officers recovered all stolen property and the knife that was used.​

The suspect, a 30 year old male from Halifax is held for court and will be facing charges of Robbery, Possession of a Weapon (knife) for dangerous purpose, Carrying concealed weapon, Breaching Probation Order and Breaching Recognizance.

(2) Police Investigate Robbery – Halifax

At 11:30 p.m., 25 June, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery that occurred earlier in the evening at 6:30 p.m., near Main Avenue / Dutch Village Road Halifax.​

The victim was walking when two unknown males grabbed the victim from behind and removed a chain and medication.​ The victim sustained minor non-life-threatening injures and was treated at that hospital.​ The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect description is limited to Unknown white males, one wearing a black long sleeve shirt.​
