Full bridge closures required to complete the​ replacement of an expansion joint on the Dartmouth side of Macdonald​ Bridge are as follows:

• Thursday, August 22 from 7:00pm until 5:30am – includes sidewalk and bike lane. Shuttle will be provided*
• Monday, August 26​ from 7:00pm until 5:30am​ –​ includes sidewalk and bike lane. Shuttle will be provided*
• Tuesday, August 27​ from 7:00pm until 5:30am​ –​ includes sidewalk and bike lane. Shuttle will be provided*
• Wednesday, August 28 from 7:00pm until 5:30am​ –​ includes sidewalk and bike lane. Shuttle will be provided*
• Thursday, August 29 from 7:00pm until 5:30am – sidewalk and bike lane will be open

The work is weather dependent and will be​ rescheduled if necessary.

The closures include the sidewalk and bike lane and the shuttle will be provided*

Once complete there are no further scheduled​ closures on the Macdonald Bridge in 2019.
