Lead Service Line Replacement – Quinpool Road
Attention motorists, cyclists and pedestrians, G & R Kelly, on behalf of Halifax Water will be undertaking a lead service line replacement tomorrow (Thursday, December 5th) on Quinpool Road between Preston Street and Monastery Lane.
There will be lane drops on Quinpool Road between Preston Street and Monastery Lane from 9:00AM – 4:00PM.
Two lanes of traffic will be maintained. See the attached work zone map. Pedestrian traffic will be directed around the work site as necessary.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow around the work zone. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays.
Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
