Human remains found in Dartmouth

At approximately 10:30 a.m. today police received a report of what was believed to be human remains in a wooded area near Elliott Street in Dartmouth. Police located the remains at that location and the Medical Examiner’s Office have confirmed them to be human.

Investigators from the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating and as the investigation is in the early stages no further information is available at this time.
