Today, Sept. 10, Nova Scotia is reporting 11 new cases of COVID-19 and six recoveries.

Ten of the cases are in Central Zone. Two are close contacts of previously reported cases. Three are related to travel. Five are under investigation.

One case is in Eastern Zone and is related to travel.

There have been 4,422 cases from March 15 to Sept. 9, 2021. Of those:

— 82 (1.9 per cent) were fully vaccinated
— 265 (6.0 per cent) were partially vaccinated
— 4,075 (92.1 per cent) were unvaccinated

There were 257 people hospitalized. Of those:

— 2 (0.8 per cent) were fully vaccinated
— 28 (10.9 per cent) were partially vaccinated
— 227 (88.3 per cent) were unvaccinated

Twenty-eight people died. Of those:

— 1 (3.6 per cent) was fully vaccinated
— 3 (10.7 per cent) were partially vaccinated
— 24 (85.7 per cent) were unvaccinated

As of today, Nova Scotia has 78 active cases of COVID-19. Of those, one person is in a hospital COVID-19 unit.

There were 2,838 tests administered between Sept. 3 and Sept. 9 at the rapid-testing pop-up sites in Halifax and Dartmouth.

On Sept. 9, Nova Scotia Health Authority’s labs completed 3,364 tests.

As of Sept. 9, 1,464,075 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered. Of those, 701,708 Nova Scotians have received their second dose.

Since April 1, there have been 4,375 positive COVID-19 cases and 28 deaths. Cases range in age from under 10 to over 90. There are 4,269 resolved cases. Cumulative cases may change as data is updated in Panorama.
