Police issue 109 tickets for speeding and other vehicle-related offences

This week the Halifax Regional Police Traffic Unit issued 109 tickets in relation to speeding and other motor vehicle-related offences.

Tuesday to Thursday, members of the HRP Traffic Unit issued 109 summary offence tickets: 41 for speeding, 25 for no insurance and 43 for other offences including using a cellphone while driving, failing to stop at a red light, operating an unregistered vehicle, failing to obey traffic signs and driving with a revoked license.

We all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe. If you see someone driving dangerously, report it to police by calling 911.
