The AGNS Young Patron's Circle is hosting ArtRising 2.0 TOMORROW on Saturday, March 5th, 2011. The first ArtRising held in October 2009 and curated by artist, Mitchell Wiebe, with elaborate entertainment. It was one of the craziest parties Halifax has ever seen.

ArtRising 2.0 is curated and directed by Halifax-based multi-disciplinary artist, Eleanor King. Working with sound and video installation, performance, and painting, King will transform the secret venue into a multi-sensory experience. It will be a glamourous and high-energy evening of art, food, cocktails, and surprise experiences at this signature evening that draws art lovers and young patrons together.
Presented by the AGNS Young Patrons’ Circle, proceeds from ArtRising contribute to the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia’s fund for acquisitions of contemporary art, focusing on works from Atlantic Canadian contemporary artists.
