Charges Laid in Overnight Homicide/Victim Identified

From HRPD:

A man faces charges in connection with a homicide that occurred early
this morning.
At 12:30 a.m., police responded to the 6100 block of South Street and
discovered a man who had been stabbed. Fifty-nine-year-old David Anthony
Currie of Halifax was pronounced deceased at the scene. Our thoughts are
with his family and friends at this difficult time.
Forty-seven-year-old Quin Zhang, who was known to the victim, was
arrested at the scene. He is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial
Court today to face a charge of second degree murder.
