Police are investigating three separate incidents overnight including a shooting.

At approximately 10 pm, Police were at the 10 block of Victoria Road, on an unrelated call, where they were approached by a 22 year old male. The male who was in the rear seat of a vehicle stated he had been shot. Police observed that he had been shot in the chest. The male victim was transported to the QEII for medical treatment, at this time his injuries are considered serious but not life threatening.  The victim was able to tell police that he was shot once by someone driving a white van, on the 111 Highway, in Dartmouth. The victim could give no further descriptors. Members of the Integrated General Investigative Section are investigating the incident.

At approximately 530 pm, police responded to a robbery at North Street at Clifton Street. There they were meet by a 20 year old male victim who stated that he had just gotten off a Metro Transit bus at that location and shortly after he was approached by three white males. One of the males demanded his wallet, when he stated that he had no money, one of the males to the rear of him punched him in the back of his head, another male grabbed his backpack. All three suspects fled on foot. The victim did not require medical treatment and was not seriously injured. The victim could only describe the male suspect who did all the talking, the  white male suspect was between 15-20 years of age, 5'11", medium build, wearing a brown hoodie with "DC" letter on it. He was also wearing blue jeans and black Nike sneakers.

At approximately 415 am, police responded to the 102 Hwy to a single vehicle accident. The accident caused an extensive debris field which has resulted in the 102 highway between exit 2A (Lacewood Drive) and the on ramp from Lacewood Drive to the 102 highway to be closed, for approximately three hours. The lone male driver in his early twenties was taken to the QEII with non-life threatening injuries. Patrol members are on scene investigating the single vehicle accident.
