Hi everyone, it’s a gloomy Monday around here today. I should probably stop talking about the weather until it gets better, lol.
I have a backlog of NOTD posts, as I change my nail polish more often than I post about it. So here’s one of the latest, cause I think it’s a pretty one – the colour, not the nails. My hands suffered quite a bit on my trip. I did my best putting hand cream on them when I can, but it’s just not the same. It’d take a while for them to be back to their normal state, so don’t mind them. Travelling also did some damage on my face, but that’s another story
This is Joe Fresh Lagoon, one of the Spring 3 shades that the brand put out very recently. I had to wait quite a long time to see this batch on my store’s shelf, and they are truly spring-y shades.
This natural day light pic brings you better colour accuracy. Lagoon is a pretty pastel robin egg blue with cream finish. You could get away with 2 coats. I did 3 to cover up the bumpy surface that a treatment and base coat I was testing left behind – my fault really, not the treatment’s or the nail polish’s. Good thing Seche Vite did a good job in hiding imperfect application also, lol.
I heard some people didn’t enjoy the round cap and the short brush Joe Fresh bottles have but I don’t have a problem with that. Shorter brush means better control of the brush, at least to me.
As Joe Fresh nail polish is 3 for CAD10 or CAD4 each, I do have another 2 shades from Spring 3 group to show you. If you are a Canadian, did you pick up any shades from this bunch? What did you think?
