With two convienet locations, both downtown and Bedford, Il Mercato means market and their market fresh ingredients are sure to please the palate. Forks down, best salad I’ve ever eaten.
The grilled vegetable salad at Il Mercato is the perfect lunch time meal; it will  fill you up without filling you out. The vegetables are perfectly crisp and topped with just the right about of rich goat cheese. Super yum! For lunch, you want to keep things light, and although Il Mercato knows pasta better than anyone; you don’t want to pile on the pasta too early in the day, otherwise you’ll never make it through the afternoon. If you’re around Spring Garden this weekend, give it a go.
