June 13, 2013, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) . . . RCMP/HRP Integrated Guns and Gangs Unit have charged two men with drug trafficking.

 

Yesterday, 12:45 a.m.,  officers from the Guns and Gangs Unit, with the assistance of the HRP East Quick Response Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence on Panavista Drive in Cole Harbour.  Police seized a quantity of cocaine, cash and other drug related material.  A replica handgun was also seized during the search.

 

Two men, both 20, Jacob MacLachlan and Jared Mitchell will be facing a charge under the Controlled Substances Act for Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking.  They both appeared in Dartmouth Provincial Court yesterday.
