Guysborough County RCMP are investigating a motor vehicle collision that has left a Pictou County man with serious injuries.

At approximately 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, RCMP responded to a head-on collision on the Dean Settlement Road involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and a small sedan.

The 61-year-old man who was driving the ATV was transported to the QEII Health Sciences Center by EHS Life Flight. The female driver and lone occupant of the sedan was not injured.

The Guysborough District RCMP continue to investigate.
