The HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section is investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday morning in Halifax.

 

At 0013 am Halifax Regional Police received several calls of gun shots in the area of North St/Wood Ave and Gottingen St. It was reported two males were seen running away from the area of Wood Ave. to a dark colored vehicle, a SUV, which fled the scene. This vehicle was located and has been seized by GIS members.  The back of a Wood St residence was shot at, several bullet holes were located in the side of the building. There were three people in the home at the time, no one was injured.

 

Investigators assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section are in the early stages of the investigation. Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to contact police at 490-5020.
