Cole Harbour RCMP are investigating two robberies in the area of Forest Hills Parkway last night.
At 8:21 p.m. last night, RCMP in Cole Harbour responded to a call of a male who had been assaulted at Forest Hills Parkway and Circassion Drive.
Police attended and determined that the injured male had been punched in the face and stomach by a lone male who attempted to steal the man’s cellular phone. EHS was called to the scene and determined the male had also suffered a non-life threatening stab wound to his abdomen during an altercation. The suspect is described as a black male, with a shaved head, approx. 20 to 25 years old wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
Then at 8:30 p.m. Cole Harbour RCMP responded to a complaint from a woman at Cole Harbour Place. The woman reported that when she walked out of Cole Harbour Place a person approached her from behind and grabbed her cell phone from her hand and fled. The woman was not injured. The man is described as thin build, black hoodie, and jeans.
Both these incidents have been turned over to the RCMP / HRP Integrated General Investigation Section.
