Yarmouth RCMP have charged two men following an investigation into a break and enter that occurred at Tusket Ultramar during the early morning of July 5th, 2014.
After reviewing video surveillance from inside the gas bar, officers confirmed that a large amount of tobacco products and lottery tickets were stolen.
Assisted by Windsor and Lower Sackville RCMP, investigators conducted search warrants at residences in Newport and Lower Sackville. These searches resulted in the seizure of several items related to the break and enter.
Adam Blake Randall, 31, of Lower Sackville was charged with Break and Enter, Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Break-in Instruments and Wearing a Disguise with intent to commit an offence. Randall was released from custody and will appear in provincial court in Yarmouth on September 23rd, 2014. Brenton Matthew Laprade, 22, of Newport was charged with Break and Enter, Possession of Stolen Property and Possession of Break-in Instruments. Laprade was released from custody and will appear in provincial court in Yarmouth on September 23rd, 2014.
