Charges are pending against an adult male after a search in Meat Cove, Nova Scotia.

On August 27th at approximately 7:30 p.m., Ingonish Beach RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in Meat Cove.

Investigators seized a 12 gauge shotgun and ammunition, a quantity of marijuana and digital scales.

Twenty two-year-old Nathan Zachary MacKrous was arrested and held for court in Sydney on charges of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking and two counts of Failing to Comply with a Recognizance.
