Abducted Porters Lake Boy Alleges He Was Burned And Beaten

Halifax Regional Police

New details have emerged in Monday's abduction of a 16 year old boy from the Porters Lake area.

The Chronicle-Herald is reporting that the youth says he was beaten and burned with cigarettes after being held against his will for two days in an East Chezzetcook home. Previously, it was not known the extent of his injuries or what happened to him, only that they were non-life threatening. Halifax Regional Police will not confirm the boy's claims at this time.

On Wednesday, officers swarmed a home on Pettipas Lane where the boy alleges he was held. Neighbours say that the home is notorious for loud partying and goings-on disturbing the peace. It is suspected that between seven to nine people under the age of 20 inhabit the place at any given time with no adults present.

No suspects have been arrested yet in connection with the abduction.
