Accident On 102 Sends Man To Hospital

At 4:50 PM Sunday Halifax Regional Police officers responded to a single vehicle accident on Hwy 102 (outbound) near the Larry Uteck exit. 
The vehicle involved had lost control and flipped several times resulting in the driver being ejected from the car. The 30 year old victim was taken to the QE2 with serious injuries and remains in hospital at this time. Members of the HRP  Accident Investigation Unit and Identification Unit were brought in to investigate but the cause of the accident is undetermined at this time. Traffic was shut down periodically on the 102 and the Larry Uteck exit ramp during the course of the investigation.
