Five 16-year-olds arrested in South End Halifax for spraying fire extinguishers, throwing eggs at cars

At 00:20 AM Halifax Regional Police received several reports of a group of youths in the South End of Halifax spraying vehicles with fire extinguishers.

Three victims reported that they were in their car stopped at the intersection of South Park and Victoria Rd. They stated that the suspects threw eggs at their vehicle and when they rolled down their window to confront the group they were subsequently sprayed directly with fire extinguishers. Central Division patrol officers responded to the area and quickly located the group near the intersection and they were taken into custody without incident. Five 16 year old males from the Halifax area are now facing charges of assault, theft under and mischief. Each will be appearing at a later date at Halifax Youth Court.
