Halifax Regional Police is currently on scene of a shooting in
Dartmouth.
At 3:15 p.m., police responded to several calls about multiple shots
being fired in the area of Kennedy and Roleika Drives in Dartmouth. The
preliminary investigation indicates that a number of shots were fired at
an SUV and that one of its occupants was stuck. The victim was taken to
hospital with non life-threatening injuries and the vehicle has been
seized by police. Two other occupants of the SUV were taken into custody
by police.
The investigation is in its early stages but investigators believe this
was not a random incident. Anyone with information about this incident
