Agricola Street – Natural gas pipeline restoration

Monday, June 27, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that work will begin tomorrow (Tuesday) on the natural gas main trench along Agricola Street between Russell and Macara streets. The work is expected to take three days to complete and crews will be on site each day from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Lane drops will be in place and some parking spaces may be restricted. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times. No work will take place during the traditional morning and afternoon rush hours (7 a.m. to 9 a.m., and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.). Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. Heritage Gas and the municipality apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
