You’ve GOT to be kidding me. I feel as though I’ve been watching America’s Got Talent for half my life, and last week we finally got to the end of the semi-finals, or the quarter-finals, or whatever it was, and now…they’ve decided to bring twelve rejected acts back?! TWELVE??? OK, I can see each judge choosing one wild card act. But come on, guys – at this rate, the show will never end. Ever. Anyway, on to the wild card performances. There were a couple hits (like Michael and Ashley, pictured) but way too many snoozes.
Kruti Dance Academy: I like Bollywood dancing, and although I don’t like the idea of anyone getting a second shot, I didn’t mind seeing this group again. I can actually see them having a successful show, but I think they’d probably come across better live than on TV.
Rudi Macaggi: Boring. Yeah, the trick was great – but if you sneezed you would have missed it.
CJ Dippa: I couldn’t watch more than 30 seconds, and I will never forgive Howie Mandel for once again subjecting me to that child.
RNG: I really liked RNG the first time around, but I found them a little dull and generic this time. I don’t think Piers needed to X them, but I thought their “Disturbia” routine was much better.
Harmonica Pierre: Ale-Ale-Jandro! I’ll admit it, I love that song. It reminds me of Ace of Base, which reminds me of happy times. And Howie was a jerk for X’ing him before it even started. I don’t care if it was to get back at Piers, or whatever. I loved the performance.
Michael Grasso: I hate magic, so I can’t really judge the performance. It never impresses me, it just annoys me because I want/need to know how it was done.
The Hot Shot Tap Dancers: I remembered liking these guys, but they didn’t put on a great performance. I was pulling for them, but there was something about the music choice and choreography that just didn’t do it for me.
Doogie Horner: Whhhyyyyyyy? I hated this guy the first time I saw him. Doogie was a lot funnier this time, but only because all his material related to the show – how long can he pull that off for?
Connor Doran: Ugh. I find it difficult to root for sob story acts, because I know everyone else is rooting for them. Sometimes I just want to root for someone who’s a jerk, but it really, really talented. I just don’t see an act in the whole kite-flying thing.
Anna and Patryk: There’s something just a little creepy about watching those kids dance so sexily. I know, I know, they’ve got nothing on the Britneys and Mileys of the world. But the dance was just so flirty and seductive, it was weird to see it performed by 12-year-olds.
Michael and Ashley: Since I couldn’t watch the show live on Tuesday night, I’d already heard that this performance was amazing. What I didn’t know was that for a minute there, everyone actually thought that the very worst had happened. It was a seriously terrifying and breathtaking performance – and I loved the song choice!
Swing Shift Side Show: Gross. I’m very glad that one performer decided not to blow darts using her…well, not using her mouth. I liked the carnival set they used for the performance and that was about it. The performance managed to be both weird and boring at the same time, and they got two X’s.

So four acts can continue on. I’d choose Michael and Ashley, Harmonica Pierre…and I guess RNG and the Kruti Dance Academy. But really, I only loved Michael and Ashley and Harmonica Pierre. Who would you put through?
